This mixture provides an excellent, unparalleled source of essential omega-3 fatty acids. Sockeye salmon also provides an excellent source of protein and is ground bone in, providing essential calcium. Salmon is an exceptional source of Vitamin B12, Vitamin D and Selenium. Our salmon is sushi grade and safe for dogs to eat raw. The beef in this mixture is federally inspected, hormone and steroid free, human grade. Beef is high in protein, iron and zinc, beef organs provide a rich source of many essential vitamins and minerals. The vegetables in our salmon and beef meal are rich in anti-oxidants and vitamins and minerals. This formula also has an ideal protein to fat ratio and an ideal calcium to phosphorus ratio of 1.5:1 with 4.2 grams of calcium per 1000 calories making it very well balanced for puppies and adults alike.
